Yes, Sen Thompson has withdrawn from the race but I have neither withdrawn from him nor the values he espouses. Fiscal, social and defense conservatism. The rule of law, limited government, personal responsibility and free markets don't lose their value. They don't go out of style. At least they don't for me. I suspect they don't for many of you either.

Fred Thompson's name will still be on the ballot for president in Alabama. And I will still be voting for him. And I am not alone.

He is still the only standard bearer for traditional Reagan Coalition values. His absence from the race has shown the other would be nominees for the hollow husks they are.

The fight for conservative values is not over and it will not be won by holding our noses and voting for the less smelly Republican.

I will be among the many who will be able to proudly say,
